Manga pop art is the result of artistic fusion by liz mogollon. these artworks are focused on presenting the aesthetics and elements of traditional and contemporary japanese art and its influence on popular culture. some of her paintings are characterized by the inclusion of images about popular manga characters and bring them to other contexts of unusual environments, where color is the protagonist. there are also elements inspired by the superflat style of takashi murakami about the concept of the "high art" and the relation with the culture of consumption. "the language of the true art is universal and manga style became a global expression. is interesting see the influence of this language trough the popular culture, that's the reason, that i'm interested in capture this concept through my paintings"

Manga pop art, es resultado de una fusión artística realizada por la artista liz mogollón. esta obra está enfocada en presentar la estética y elementos del arte japonés tradicional y actual y su influencia en la cultura popular . algunas de sus pinturas se caracterizan, por la inclusión de imágenes de reconocidos personajes manga y llevarlos a otros contextos de ambientes inusuales, donde el color es el protagonista. existen también elementos inspirados en el estilo superflat de takashi muarkami sobre el concepto de el "gran arte" y su relación con el consumo."el lenguaje del verdadero arte es universal y el manga se convirtió en un medio de expresión global, es interesante presenciar la influencia de este lenguaje en la cultura popular, es por ello que me intereso en plasmar este concepto, a través de mis obras".
